Prop Research Predictions: Preserve the Original Timestamp and Outcome

A prediction journal needs a rule written before its outcome. An account ledger needs actual execution and valuation evidence. Keep both, with a link between them, instead of allowing a later price move to stand in for a completed trade.

Freeze the original research record

Save a stable idea ID, original publication instant, trigger, invalidation condition, horizon and version. Record later edits as new versions with their own timestamps. A London diary display should retain the full dated offset rather than replacing the original UTC instant.

Define the outcome before observing it. A claim that price touched a target needs the specified series and observation rule. If the trigger or horizon was not defined, mark that limitation rather than selecting a favourable interpretation afterwards.

Reconcile a fictional sequence

Suppose idea J1 is recorded at 09:00, its trigger is observed at 09:15 and a later market observation reaches the defined target at 10:00. Separately, an account entry fills at 09:17 at a different price. The idea outcome and account result now require different calculations.

The account still needs exit evidence, quantity and costs. No recorded exit means no completed round-trip result is established. A correct direction call cannot fill that gap. Likewise an account fill alone does not prove that the original prediction criteria were satisfied.

Compare the account to the actual rules

HashHedge evaluation results depend on the actual product conditions and account path. This site’s earlier prediction resource remains the companion for research chronology. Keep the two questions connected without collapsing one into the other.

The optional sponsored HashHedge link leads to current programme information. The fictional timeline is not a published signal, verified customer record or promise of successful trading. No order, registration or prediction is sent by this article.
